A (Re)Freshing Look...





For those who don't know, BBC Arabic Television had it's 2nd Incarnation last 11th of March 2008 and I must say that this is how news channel should be. And also, I agree that the "other" Arabic TV channel "Al-Hurra," which is controlled by the U.S. Government should be shut down since all things they do are a bunch of propaganda like the FOX News channel.

But after almost a decade of being switched-off by the Saudi Government because of differences in Editorial views, and the launching of Qatar's Al Jazeera, looks like everything has changed and it will be a tough. But since they are the BBC and they have many years of experience in the news programming, so I expect that they can handle the "new" channel perfectly and since the new channel is being funded by the British Foreign Office, I expect that this channel will be here to stay... unlike the ITV News at Ten!
